Photovoltaics
Photovoltaics is the direct conversion of solar radiation into electrical current, on the basis of a physical reaction. When light falls onto the solar cell, voltage is created between the two layers. When a user is connected to this, direct current flows which can in turn be converted to alternating current with the corresponding voltage.
When investing in photovoltaics you have the support of the renewable energy regulations behind you. These guarantee a feed-in tariff per kilowatt hour from the utility company concerned for a period of twenty years – throughout Germany, agreed by contract and independent of any political changes.
